Terms & Conditions

1. Court booking with non-refundable payment is through Skedda online booking system. There is no guarantee of court availability at your preferred day/time. SSBA booking officer has the authority to reschedule or cancel any booking within reason.
2. Discounted member court hire fee applies if the booking is made by a SSBA member and all playing on court/s are also SSBA members (guest are allowed up to 3 times/year, after which they have to be members). Discounted court hire fee may be revoked if this condition is breached.
3. Payment made will be forfeited for no shows and booking cancellation. However, booking may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice by SMS on Tel: 0402 365 301 (SSBA booking officer) by the person who made the booking. The SMS should indicate a future date, time and court number for a like-to-like reschedule. If notice is less than 24 hours, payment will be forfeited. Credit is not permissible in the SSBA booking system.
4. The Armadale Badminton Centre is managed by volunteers and there are times when you will be required to collect a fob (access key card). Please read your confirmation email for details prior to your arrival at the badminton centre.
5. Adhere strictly to the finishing time of your booked session for others to start theirs. Charges will apply retrospectively if court use is extended beyond the booked time.
6. Players must stay within your booked court/s. As a courtesy to players in other courts, avoid any actions that may interfere in their play, including any objects on courts or when moving between courts.
7. Children must be supervised at all times on courts/s. No running or playing behind the courts, as this may affect the concentration of players on-court.
8. Eating, drinking (except water during emergencies) or chewing gum on courts is not permitted.
9. Only non-marking shoes are to be worn to avoid unsightly marks or streaks on the court surface. Playing badminton on courts with slippers or barefoot is not permitted.
10. Courts must be left clean by picking up your shuttles and rubbish. A court sweeper is available for use and a bin is located close to the entrance.
11. Use of dining hall and kitchen is only with the consent of SSBA Board. If dining hall and kitchen is used, they must be left clean after use. A vacuum cleaner is available.
12. SSBA will not be held responsible for belongings lost or misplaced by players in or outside the Armadale Badminton Centre. ‘Lost and found basket is at the entrance of the hall.
13. SSBA will not be responsible if you are health compromised. You should not use this facility without first clearing with your medical doctor.
14. Filming/photography for commercial use is only permitted with the approval of SSBA Board.
15. The Armadale Badminton Centre is non-smoking venue.
16. The Armadale Badminton Centre is managed by the SSBA Board, which is a working group of volunteers offering community service (which is the reason for the low court hire fee). Your cooperation and respect are expected.

Non-members: $16.50/court/hour
