Club Registration
2025 Registration are due 1st April 2025
To register as a club, click on the resources page and print off the Registration form. Club affiliation cost is $20.00 paid directly into the SSBA bank account using your club name as reference. Club is a group with 8 or more players. BadmintonWA have set up a new platform (Waarble) for membership. Send a spreadsheet to the treasurer with your players legal names and DOB only. Include all names even those who play with other SSBA clubs and indicate those who register with BAWA through a different non SSBA club – name the club. Forward to orla1mccarthy@outlook.com
Single Memberships
BadmintonWA have set up a new platform ( Waarble) for membership registration.
BAWA ID will be required if known, or contact Orla if unknown – however you can register without it
Players must register using their legal name – name on passport (otherwise insurance is not valid)

Each player/member must pay there own fees online or the club organiser can do it for them.
All players in each club or group need to be registered for the club/group to receive the reduced court hire fee ($10/hour)
BadmintonWA will cover the cost per transaction for credit card use
When registering your DOB – click on the calendar and then on the year (2024) in the box and options for your DOB will appear
If you do not play badminton WA competitions – leave the Tournament ID blank
Each member will get an email confirming their registration
Costs for players for 2024:
Adults $58 – made up of BAWA $50 and SSBA fee $8 to be paid online via the link below
Seniors $42 – made up of BAWA $39 and SSBA fee $3 to be paid online via the link below
Juniors $45 – made up of BAWA $39 and SSBA fee $6 to be paid online via the link below
Both these fees ( BAWA and SSBA) are paid together online via the SSBA link* listed below
Do NOT pay your fees direct via BAWA website as you will be charged more for your BAWA fee and you will not be paying the SSBA fees so will not be eligible for reduced court fees.
NB: Players who register with BAWA via a non SSBA club still need to pay the SSBA fee ( Adults $8, Seniors $3, Juniors $6) this fee needs to be paid directly into the bank account by the player with their name as reference – if you have more than one player paying this fee then you can choose to collect the fees from them and send Orla a list and ref your group name with the deposit.
